How Safe Is Your Child?


With an ever increasing level of security awareness it is clear that the parent's responsibilities are not only to physically protect their children when they are present, but to also arm them emotionally and intelligently for those times when they are away from our side. There are many ways for predators to take advantage of the various opportunities that they might have where our children are concerned. In the school yard, in from of our homes, and even inside our won homes - our children are vulnerable.

Safety NET is designed to reach your children that the danger is real and that there are ways of recognizing the danger signs and avoiding situations that might put them in harms way.

Being a parent isn't easy and being a child in these uncertain times is often just as difficult. The Safety NET Kids video series will give your child the skills he or she will need to recognize common ploys used by abductors, abusers and other dangerous predators, they will learn how to handle those situations with words and actions that will deter the predator and they will know how to convey what they have seen or heard to the proper authorities. They will learn to stay safe and sound, and best of all when they are Safety NET trained, they are No Easy Targets!

These seminars are for you and your kids! We will teach the children how to avoid being a victim, how to be confident and to say “NO!” and other vital information to help keep them safe, all in a fun and non-fearful environment. We are not about promoting fear, but about promoting confidence and personal safety.

Is Your Child At Risk?

  • According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, in the past 15 of the past 18 years, there has been an increase in the number of missing children.
  • The increase in missing children since 1982 is 468%
  • Most abductions are done by luring children to a vehicle rather than taking them by force.
  • Half are 4-11 years of age. The rest, 12 or older. 74% are girls.
  • The FBI receives over 2000 missing child reports every day.
  • One child goes missing every 40 seconds - 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
  • Even more alarming are statistics from the U.S. Department of Justice and the World Almanac which places the chance of your child being abducted at 1 in 42.
